PowerCup 2026
In June 2026, PowerCup, the world's largest volleyball tournament for children and youth, was held in Helsinki. For the event, Event IT partnered with JM Band to deliver a complete wristband system that consolidated food, beverages, and access control into a single streamlined workflow. The system reduced manual administration and the risk of errors, minimised queue times, and provided both participants and staff with a significantly more smooth experience. Furthermore, the platform delivered valuable data insights regarding attendance, consumption, and overall execution, which can be leveraged for future event optimization and strategic decision-making.

RFID wristbands
Powered by RFID wristbands with integrated ticketing, the system enabled organisers to seamlessly manage both catering and access control throughout the event.
Scanners
The handheld scanners were delivered fully pre-configured with built-in SIM cards offering pan-European connectivity. Once powered on, the devices were instantly ready for volunteers to start scanning.
Live dashboard
Event IT’s dashboard delivered real-time data on attendance, queues, and consumption patterns. This data was utilised to optimise the attendee experience in real time and will simultaneously serve as a valuable resource for planning next year’s PowerCup.
