This is the signup page for the Danish Shipping Education Mentor Course taking place in 2026-2027.

The course addresses mentors connected to DSE trainees on either of the active cohorts: DSE 2025-2027 and DSE 2026-2028.

This course spans over two days (one in November and one in February). This way we can practice and try out tools between sessions.

Dates

- Day 1: Thursday November 19th 2026 10.00 - 16.00 at Danish Shipping in Copenhagen.

- Day 2 Thursday February 4th 2027 10.00 - 16.00 at Danish Shipping in Copenhagen.

Goals of the Course:

• To strenghten the relation and communication between DSA and DSE-participating companies.
• To equip mentors of DSE trainees with practical pedagogical tools.
• To strengthen the connection between the theoretical content delivered through DSE and the practical learning gained through workplace tasks in participating companies.
• To inspire more DSE-participating companies to establish mentoring programmes that support these objectives and enhance learning processes for both individual trainees and their companies.

Who can sign up?

The course is only for professionals who work closely with the trainee on a daily basis, are responsible for on-the-job training, and support and monitor the trainee throughout the training period.

The course covers topics that need to be addressed in everyday practice in order to provide concrete insights into how trainees can best be supported in their learning processes. Therefore, participation requires familiarity with the work procedures, subject areas, and tasks that the individual trainee is involved in on a daily basis.

Participation also requires that attendees either currently serve in a mentor-like role for their trainee or are expected to take on such a role after completing the course.

Price?

Participation for mentors is free as long as it is related to a DSE active trainee.

At signup we ask you to indicate danish/english language. This will determine what language is used on the course days.
