CopenPay: Learn to ride a bike like a local in Copenhagen
Visiting Copenhagen and want to cycle like a local?
Join our free bike class led by locals — with free bike rental, a social ride, and communal lunch included (please note: registration required, exclusive event – spaces are limited).
As part of the upcoming CopenPay 2026 launch, we invite you to experience the city the Copenhagen way — on two wheels.
From 13–14 June, Copenhagen hosts the UCI World Tour race, Copenhagen Sprint. To celebrate both this major cycling event and the spirit of CopenPay — where visitors are rewarded for engaging in local, good experiences — we’re hosting a fun and welcoming introduction to everyday cycling in Copenhagen.
You’ll start with a hands-on session to refresh your cycling skills and learn how to ride safely in Copenhagen. Then we’ll join the once-a-year ‘Folkecykelløb’ — a large, slow-paced public ride where everyone can try part of the Copenhagen Sprint route before the pros arrive. After a couple of kilometres, we leave the ride together and head to UNION in Nørrebro for a relaxed communal lunch.
How to find us
Meet us outside the main Tivoli entrance on Vesterbrogade.
Look for people in CopenPay t-shirts and caps or our CopenPay beach flag.
