ABOUT THE EVENT: 

Are you ready for an island adventure this summer?

Samsø is the sunniest island in Denmark. With beautiful beaches and cosy bars Samsø is perfect for making new friends, while sharing laughs, smiles, and sunsets. This summer, you can experience the island feeling, while supplementing your SU and be part of the youth invasion on Samsø.

On the 20th of April 2023 we’re inviting you on a trip to Samsø, where you can learn more about the island's summer jobs. Here companies will present their job opportunities, and you will get to experience the island. We provide transport and delicious food all day.

Whether you want to prepare and serve food, to work as a dishwasher or as a cleaner, we have a job for you on Samsø. Here you can work in one of the many restaurants, and accommodations on the island. You don´t need previous experience, as long as you are ready to give our guests a good experience and believe that providing good service is important.

The island is full of young people in the summer, and you will quickly become part of new communities, when you are hanging out at the beaches, enjoying the sunset with a cold beer, or participating in one of the many events during the summer.

It's completely free to join the event and we’ll take care of the transportation, food, and drinks throughout the day. All you need to do is to sign up here:

9.45 - We gather at the ferry LILLEØRE, which sails to Samsø from DOKK1.

10.15 - 11.15 - You are introduced to Samsø and its many offers during the crossing.

11.45 - 14.15 - We have two stops on the island, where companies come and present their summer job opportunities, and you can talk to them about hours, job conditions, accommodation and much more.

The first stop is in the town Ballen, which is the primary tourist town on Samsø's east coast. At the restaurant Dokken, companies will come with job offers, and lunch is served.

The second stop is at the idyllic town Nordby, which gets many visits from tourists throughout the season. Here we gather with the companies in restaurant Nordby13.

15.15-16.15 - During the ferry ride home you get the chance to talk to people who have has summer jobs on Samsø and would love to share their experience with you.
