The Italian Cultural Institute is hosting a conference given by Stefano Dominella, a prominent figure in the fashion world, on September 9, 2025 at 6:00 p.m.

At the conference, Stefano Dominella will talk about Italian fashion, focusing on the issues of sustainability in the sector and the relationship between Italian fashion and cinema.

Stefano Dominella is President of Gattinoni Couture, Vice-President of the Textile, Clothing, and Fashion Section of Unindustria, and Scientific Director of Istituto Modartech, an Italian higher academic training center in the fields of fashion and communication. Throughout his long career, he  has held significant roles in various cultural projects, including the scientific committee for the project “Fashion Archives of the 20th Century.”

As a professor, he has taught at prestigious institutions such as the University Sapienza of Rome, the Accademia Italiana, the Accademia del Lusso, and the IED Institute, where he specializes in communication, marketing, and fashion styling. His experience and passion for education aim to combine tradition and innovation, preparing future designers to face the challenges of the industry.

The conference will be held in Italian and English. Wine and refreshments will be served following the conference.

Det Italienske Kulturinstitut er vært for et foredrag af Stefano Dominella, en fremtrædende figur i modeverdenen, den 9. september kl. 18.00.

Her vil Stefano Dominella fortælle om italiensk mode med fokus på bæredygtighed i sektoren og forholdet mellem italiensk mode og film.

Stefano Dominella er direktør for Gattinoni Couture, næstformand for tekstil-, beklædnings- og modeafdelingen hos Unindustria og videnskabelig direktør for Istituto Modartech, et italiensk videregående akademisk uddannelsescenter inden for mode og kommunikation. Gennem sin lange karriere har han haft betydelige roller i forskellige kulturelle projekter, herunder den videnskabelige komité for projektet " Fashion Archives of the 20th Century".

Han har også undervist på prestigefyldte institutioner som University Sapienza of Rome, Accademia Italiana, Accademia del Lusso og IED Institute, hvor han  specialiserer sig i kommunikation, marketing og fashion styling. Hans erfaring og passion for uddannelse kombinerer tradition og innovation og forbereder fremtidige designere på at møde branchens mange udfordringer.

Foredraget afholdes på italiensk og engelsk. Der serveres vin og forfriskninger efterfølgende.
