The EMMA4EU team at Copenhagen Business School warmly invites you to a half-day workshop and hackathon on the topic of the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR).
With recent changes to the EU deforestation regulation and a further postponement of enforcement, industries are operating in a period of continued uncertainty. The time before enforcement now invites a choice: to consolidate and build on steps already taken, or to use this moment to reflect, prepare, and develop practical, actionable pathways toward compliance.
This workshop creates a collaborative forum for companies, civil society, embassies and other relevant stakeholders to exchange insights, surface shared challenges, and co-develop actionable steps for stronger deforestation-free supply chains.
Through expert-led presentations, participants will gain insights into the latest developments surrounding the EUDR, innovative tools and technologies available to companies committed to achieve deforestation-free supply chains as well as the current debate and challenges surrounding this legislation. The event will also provide ample opportunity for dialogue, collaboration, and network-building across sectors. The day will conclude with a hands-on awareness and co-creation session with students.
This event is part of the EU-funded project EMMA4EU – Innovation Alliance for Training Programmes for Deforestation-Free Supply Chains in Europe.
We look forward to welcoming you!
