The Italian Cultural Institute is celebrating the 2024 edition of the Italian Research Day in the World with a conference on the topic:
Opportunities offered by an innovation ecosystem. Focus on energy and digital transition, knowledge management, non-invasive healthcare system and applications of AI

The fields of energy transition and Health and Pharma are of primary importance for the definition of life and wellbeing in the future years. Great importance will be attached to the energy management of densely populated areas (in terms of organization, mobility, control, building-conception), and to the possibilities offered by a non-invasive healthcare system (both for control and therapeutics). These fields will be developed with the support of digital transition, dedicated algorithms and applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
An integrated approach will be necessary starting from a new generation of experts grown up with focus on multi-disciplinarity. This approach will pave the way for the implementation of state-of-the-art techniques into the industral processes with the aim to improve the quality of the products.
The above topics will be dealt with by Professor Franco Fossati, Scientific Director of the Rome Technopole Foundation in a conference at the Italian Cultural Institute. Professor Fossati is an engineer with more than 35 years’ experience in the aero-space industry a and with solid research/technology background and experience in the management of large teams of experts involved in multi-disciplinary activities.
Also participating are Martin Bech, Danish Academy of Technologies and Ada Scupola, Department of Social and Business Sciences, Roskilde University.
After the conference, the Institute will serve a glass of Italian wine and a buffet of Italian specialities.
